Sorry to post this type of question here.

Would very much like to be sleeping in bed with wife in Aboyne tonight instead of hoteling it in Dundee where i work. I have left going home since Monday due to snow.

I was planning on going up tonight but she says its pretty bad. I have snow tyres and will go main roads. But any local info would be helpful.

horriffic! i work in Banchory and am just home to inverurie.....loads of cars have come off the road or abandoned.

Ijust love having one big playground though ; )

Thunderstorm just passed over Banchory way. 6-12" of snow on the ground and thunder and lightning overhead. Pretty fecking awesome

Dunno about out Aboyne direction, but North of Ellon is bad, certainly out Mintlaw/Turriff area there is not far off a foot of snow and its still falling.
