hi going to have a map tweek after newyear by andy f can you get pops and bangs mapped in and if so does it cause any problems car is a blobeye with 340bhp 340ft/lbs torque cheers

U will need Anti lag for pops and bangs/ if you get pops and bangs without anti lag I am sure this means you will be over fueling and could result in piston slap and/or a blown engine!!!. This is what I have been told so it might be wrong, I am sure someone will correct me.

Overrun pops and bangs can be done on apexi but it is not antilag

I had Andy put the pops and bangs on mine then failed a sound test at Elvington on a track day. Sweet talked them in the end but other tracks will think you have anti lag which is banned in certain areas of the country, so if you track think twice as I had to pay Andy to come out again and remove. Defo get the launch control

I once test-drove a car that had switchable pops and bangs on the overrun, mapped by andyf. Quite amusing for about half a minute, stupidly annoying and embarrasing afterwards.

Apologies By the way Andy C did mine, eyes must be going!
As to launch control I have a 5 speed box and no problems so far but only do it occasionally, others may know more.
