UK 2.5 296bhp (305ps)
JDM 2.0L 305bhp

0-60 is irrelevant.. you'd kill your clutch to obtain those figures... "sub 5 seconds" is pretty much it

Having had a crack at serious 0-60 at Silverstone I can tell you it's hard to be that accurate. You need a really good consistent road surface, everything up to temp, tyre pressures just right, and a disciplined driver, not to mention the right kit to measure it with. If you get it spot on you can arrive at a good figure, but it isn't at all easy to keep doing it to within .1 of a second. Road testers just read out what it says on the dial.

In the real world, the small difference probably all becomes immaterial when driven by a lard **** (me) and a full tank, compared to a skinny waif with 1/3 of a tank

Default Proven

I was looking through some figures in the BHP/Torque for a 2008 STI,
Well on Satuday past I was at the Aberdeen Scoobie Clubs Rolling Road Charity Day.

On the car is fitted -
Adjustable Turbosmart Dual BOV
Hayward & Scott 2.5" Catback System
Pipercross Panel Filter..

Results =
305.3 BHP @ 6350 RPM
287.5 Ft/Lb @ 4??? RPM - Cannot remember exactly RPM

I was expecting 310-315 for the above fitted, but not dissapointed.
