RADWELD??? does and donts
hi all,
i have been warned about using radweld in my wrx, whats the possible dammage it can cause if any??
i cant see any probs with it only 1 guy said dont use it , no ifs buts or explanations, whats your views and expierience

the problem is i am losing a small amount of coolant and cant find a leak, i also have no time due to work commitments to have a proper look so i was going to bung one of these in and suck it and see

to be fair mate you will have to try and find time as putting rad weld in will almost guarantee to **** up your heater matrix amongst other things, leaving you with the dilemma of finding a lot more time to change it or run around with no heaters.

Just crack an egg in the header tank - job done lol!
Seriously though - first part of the system to check is the top rad hose - common failure point, give it a good squeeze and see if it feels ok
