Default oil catch can

Some expert advice needed please, as you probebly already know i have an EJ25 fitted to my00 classic ,i have at the current point in time a long samco hosewith a small steel filter from the extra vent on the block.

Was just wondering as it was mentioned to me to remove the filter and replace it with an oil catch can.

My next question is how do you connect the oil catch can up is it piped from various places or is it generally used to just catch excess oil and sludge any advice appreciated.

Any recommendations for a descent but not to expensive can.

You can make your own if you wanted to, seen people using red bull can etc.

But you can get anyone one really. As long as it has enough inlets and vents for your application.

My 2.5 has the heads and min crank breather vented into a Grimmspeed AOS, I'm about to add a catch can into the Crank to PCV line as well for 100% protection.

The classic setup on that section does not catch oil. You have to block of the PCV valve in order to catch oil.

I cant remember exactly how i done it on my Classic but the PCV needs blanking off & you have to connect the pipe to the catch can. The PCV has a spring inside which opens & closes. Welding it would be the best option.

There is a huge confusion when it comes to installing & plumbing the catch can IMO.
