Question 400 BHP with a 2.5" exhaust system

Hi,

As title really. Is anyone running 400 BHP on an aftermarket 2.5" exhaust system or is it just not possible?

Newage or classic...

Cheers

Was doing 400 bhp on a 3 inch system on a newage. I think it depends on the build as mine was starting to det at just over 400 bhp. Recently I changed to a 3.5 inch exhaust and now at 416 bhp as engine was at 97k when mapped so mapper would not push it.

I was running 400bhp on a 2.5 system - PPP sportscat and Afterburner Vortex, 2002 STi, not a built engine

does changing from a 2.5 to a full 3inch system make much difference performance wise.....
