Thanks to Ian @ Litchfield
Thanks to Ian @ Litchfield this morning for taking the time to save me from a potentially sticky situation. After a nightmare four hour train journey from High Wycombe to Tewksbury to pick up my car from a body shop, I started the car and the check engine light came on and stayed on.
Luckily I was very close to Litchfields at the time and Ian very kindly agreed to hook it up to his laptop to see what the problem was. Thankfully it was a historical cooling fault log rather than anything more serious, so Ian checked that the fans were coming on when expected, cleared the fault and sent me on my way. The car was fine on the way home, so I'll get it checked out next week.
