Hi everybody

In previous posts i asked for advice where to get a WRX from asap
eventually i ordered one from Montys motors in Sheffield
I should get sometime in May
thanks to everyone who helped

However my friend has bought an imported WRX from an importer and
is having great difficulty with them regarding registering his import.
Thet got the new WRX from a Dutch dealer which I think means he gets a one year subaru uk warranty and two further years from Subaru Holland
When he took his car to a main dealer for the 1000 mile service they told him that his car was not registered on their subaru warranty site (whatever this is )
What he needs to know is how to register his car for warranty purposes
Should the importer have done this

Any advice would be welcome

What you've said sounds right. He'll need to give his Subaru dealer (or IM) a copy of the invoice for the car. They will then register it on the IM data base for warranty purposes.
