Would just make sure you Hpi it mate, triple check the history against the old mots for mileage discrepencys etc, check the clutch isn't high on the biting point and if it is haggle the price as it will cost you, also check when cam belt was done, also it maybe coming up for it's next service so just try for money off if it is.
Don't be scared to walk away even though you've traveled miles as there is a million for sale right now.

If you can you could try and get a MY05 model with DCCD and wider track etc.

i have also still got the 2.5 block and turbo after some advice from people on here i will use the car for a daily driver hence why i rulled out the typr r and want newage but i,am trying to get the best for my money,

i,ve also just had too take a wage cut which was either that or no job so i,am being sceptical about were my money is being spent,

yes wayne i,am contemplating weather or not to sell the engine and turbo then i could get an already modded newage but there are always option,s out there.

the idea was for a track day car but there is no chance of that now i,am bored with my 1.25lt fiesta economy wise great practical wise for my style of driving sometime i forget what i,am in when joining the motorway lol

My brother got his car transported from Central Scotland down to Lincon when it was going for some upgrades and it wasnt that expensive. Like you say its finding one that will be the hard bit.
