Default cancel/renew

i have just had my patience tested to the max by the post office insurance
basically renewal is 522.60 but if i do it online as a new customer its 422.30 can i just let it expire for 1day use wifes car to go to work then start a new policy as a new customer the following day and save 100quid the helpfull woman at post office said no but i canr see why not . anyone know any different ??

they all rip you off.

I was with Esure started at 600 last 1 was 900 if you let ir roll automatically they rape u. She was with Post Office 550 quid for a w reg astra.

So i did both our cars on gocompare. i got my new 2011 STI down to 720 with Shielas Wheels, hers i got down to 250,

On go compare the Post office was 350 how TF does that work.

it to do with new bussines prices they are usally cheaper as they want to pull buussines in then when you renew they up if i where you id go through a broker and they get you a good deal i use keith micheals and my car is got a lot of mods on it give them a ring and forget the post office

new customer discounts to draw in the victim i think i aint having none of it chaucer offered me 435.00

this was on watchdog last nite made me smile when the bloke got a years insurance for 93p quoted £120 something for an old shed, but got a new customer cash back deal of £120 hahahaha

Just get a new policy to start on the day the existing expires, you don't have to renew.

yes thats what ime going to do but post office where cheeper and my point was can i let policy expire with post office and then start a new one next day saving myself 100quid
