Default Very Stange New Clutch problem 05 JDM STI

Hi

I very recently as in a couple of weeks ago had a new AP Performance Clutch fitted to my 2005 JDM STI.

The clutch feels great and works fantastically except for when I give the car a little bit of a trash.

The biting point at normal is where it should be, about an inch into the pedal movement.

When I give it some go and change gears at higher revs the travel becomes a lot more and the biting point of the clutch drops a couple of inches, when I back off and change gear the biting point goes back to where it normally is..

I tried this on the motorway tonight.. ( Obviously by this i mean an empty private road ) and was changing gears at high speed high rev and the took my foot of the clutch.. It didn't return straight away.. it moved up to where the lower biting point was .. stuck there for a bit and then pinged back up ( this is all with my foot off the clutch )

Taking it back to the garage that fitted it on the weekend but he was as stumped as me when I described it.

Does anyone have any clue what might be the cause?

Thanks

Matt

Would possibly try bleeding the clutch circuit first and see if that improves things.

I take it that it was fine before the clutch was fitted ??

Can I ask where you bought your clutch from and how much it was?

I am looking for a new clutch as mine has started slipping.

Second that, my clutches biting point changes slightly sometimes which can be odd when in traffic and my spring broke ages ago and I never replaced it.
