will it do
hi all,2 months ago the head gasket went in my 95 import classic.after being in the garge since then thay finaly tell me 2day that my engine is dead and needs a rebuild,im thinkin of a 2.1 stroker but i have a open deck block.will i b able 2 run big bhp with this or am i waistin my time.money is tight at the mo (polish keep nickin my jobs) so any help advise would be grate

Whats big BHP?
Your issues are not the engine but everything else on said car, if your after say 400bhp then most of your car will need upgrading, not a cheap job (try 10k+)

as above bhp block and gearbox are going to set you back 6k then you need supporting mods to make the power, suspension and brakes, management system on the car. depends what you are planning to do and how deep your pockets go

im thinking of a 2.1 stroker as a starting place but i want 2 know if the open deck block will take big power if not ill just go with standerd internals,not saying i will go 4 big power just wanna know if its a good base 2 start with in case i do one day also im fed up with engines going bang
