Default best upgrade on a sti bugeye .....turbo

looking for an upgrade currently running circ 340 and wanting to get closer to 400 (turbo, engine are standard)
i have a my02 sti , what do i need to obtain these figures
is it just the case of bolting on another turbo?

if so what would people say would be a good upgrade

Fuel pump, injectors, turbo, remap etc.....

fuel pump has already been changed to walbro 255 is this not good enough ??

also arnt the injectors in a sti good for 400 ??

which turbo do people generally go for ??

I had to up the fuel pressure to 4 bar on OEM injectors to get near 400 bhp...

Fuel pump is sufficient.

A hybrid TD will get you to around 380, an MD321H will make 390-410, a T will make more...

Full Decat turbo back 3” bore exhaust system sportscat will be fine
ported and wrapped headers and uppipe
Walbro 255 l/hr uprated fuel pump
K+N panel filter
Ecutek custom remap
Twin boost set up for high/low power switchable in-car
NGK PFR 7B uprated spark plugs
Fuel Lab turbo specification fuel pressure regulator with fitting kit & gauge set at 4bar
td 05-20G custom turbo charger

i done all this to my last car for 1700 quid

sc46 billet will prob get you there oe there abouts.

assuming its the one off there demo car. will prob be a bit laggy and not sure if it will make the 400. TD05's are pretty long in the tooth tech wise now

I was hoping for 380-400 with this turbo, I know 400 maybe asking a bit much but I did read on here the other day someone made 410+with the 20g

JayAllen made just over 400bhp on his Bug STI using a 20g and remap.

Can't remember what else he did, but don't think it was a lot.

400 on 2.0 can be laggy.

SC38 turbo probably the best compromise.

Turbo and stuff has moved on when i used the td05 20g it was under 400 bhp but now you get the billet version with supported mods and easy be on target for 400 with even quicker spool.

I made 416bhp 370ft/lb on a aet td05-20g sold by ra motorsport in perth
