Default Rear diff problems, I think!!

hey, wat does a diff sound like just before it goes? reason i ask is because i just had the near side casing seal replaced a couple of days ago, with nice fresh anti-shock fluid inside, went on a bit of a spirited drive the other night and it started to scream a bit wen doing about 80, at least i think it was the diff, carnt really be anything else can it? car is a JDM MY99 Impreza WRX, any ideas??

could be the diff if they have disturbed the casing and put it back wrong then it will either effect the preload or the backlash so it will either be a bit slack or to tight or the pressure on it will be increased or decreased either can make it noisy

I had a rear diff go recently, (BMW though), I at first thought the wheel bearings had gone, then there was more whirring, then quite a loud bang.
