Clutch Slip
Hi there, is it possible for the clutch slave or master cylinder to be the cause of a clutch slipping on a uk turbo?
Mine is slipping and sometimes when under heavy load the clutch pedal does not travel back to the normal position during a gear change, just stays down completly. Only happens when ur giving it some though, normal driving the pedal is fine. Changing the clutch in a few weeks but it just crossed my mind whether that could be contributing to it or not?
Cheers

I experienced clutch slip on an old scoob many years ago and it was due to the pedal not returning. I had the clutch replaced and it wasn't worn and it did it again due to the pedal catching on the mat or something similar.
Check it out first because I learned that if I hooked the pedal up with my foot the clutch wouldn't slip It cost me a clutch and labour to find out that it wasn't needed

Yeah it can, if the fluid cannot return correctly it will still effectivly be pressurised pushing the clutch plates apart.
I had similar in my landy, flushed the system out every way i could and it did improve a little...
..however in the end found out it needed a new clutch. 50 quid and a couple hours of my time and its all goood.
