after much swearingtrying to desolder the dots properly i got the chip socket fitted and the polar performance chip installed. what can I say its like a new car.

just noticed the pics of your resonator delete and cathcan setup, hmmm looks exactly like mine

They are a be'ach to fit. If like us, you are not too hot with the soldering iron. I think your car has felt the increase more than most do, due to the wagon map.

I just had a look at the step by step in the Tech archives for the catch can. But for the delete to be simular is un-canny (excuse the pun) because it's a custom build, by me. As the only ones i know of that are available are the RCM ones. And that still isn't what i had in mind.

Anyway, i'm pleased you got it fitted and are feeling the benifits.
