These are pretty rare over here, especially hawk ones, is this for the car or for an engine implant?
If its for an implant then you may well get away with using one of the late blobeye ones (probably more chance of getting one of those tbh) otherwise your looking around the breakers

Is there any 1 that can help? Im absolutely stumped, ive had 2 reputable garages check the car over and still no definitive diagnosis of the problem, only that its pointing to the ECU and don't fancy paying x amount of pounds for an ECU that isn't needed.

Give API a call..... when they had my Spec C off me they also had my original ECU in a box. The car had a Hydra on it, so the OE JDM ecu was not needed for the car. They probably have it kicking around somewhere.

What year is the spec c mate? Is the oem ecu still classed as yours or is it now the property of API?

It is a MY03 Spec C but is running the same rom code compatible with a MY06 JDM. It even has an ECUTEK license on it.

It no longer belongs to me, so give API a call and ask for David to see if he still has it.

Just say you have spoken to "Shaun off ScoobyNet".

Shaun's isn't a hawkeye either, but I ought to have one off another hawk that we fitted Solaris to. I'll dig around and post a bit later.

I've got an 07 JDM Hawkeye ECU sat in the garage. It's from a rally car build and the ecu was swapped for a Motec. It's missing the outer case as you just swap the board for the Motec upgrade but it's only a cover and you've already got one on your suspect ecu.

Not been used since I drove the donor car home in July 2007, but it was fine then and should be OK.

I would think p'station and litchfields may pull my pants down and spank my **** repeatedly was hoping there would be someone who has 1 laying about they might want to get shot of? and still not certain it is the ECU.

Ideally would be better if I could try someone's ecu in my car to eliminate the problem

DBW = Drive By Wire, the Spec C is different to the "normal" JDM cars of the same year, my 06 Spec C has the same ECU as the 03 JDM cars

Been having an issue with intermittent fuel cut with CEL flashing up 'low voltage idle control valve'.
Zak at mocom said the ECU is kicking out 1volt when it should be 5volts to idle sensor. Therefore pointing to the ECU.
It's been going on for months now and noticibly worse ive seriously had enough
