Your thoughts on RCM v8 vent and buddy club rear spoiler
As above i have fitted a FMIC to my STI JDM 2003 Blob eye and now dislike the scoop and want a Roger clark vent in this link
http://www.rogerclarkmotorsport.co.u...?productID=225
and i am looking for peoples thoughts on deleting the scoop and i also want to delete the sti 8 rear spoiler and go with a buddy club carbon or APR version, as i am fitting carbon vinyl wrap to my roof next week and then probably to my bonnet and boot yet i want to cover the whole of the blue in matt black everywhere else and have a vision for orange calipers and wing mirrors this is my mini project for my next wage packets opinions wanted please my car has anthracite inovit redlines 18s already which i think will look ok.
if anyone has a rcm vent pm me and i will buy or swap with mine.

Looks a great piece. I have a V7 (bugeye) with FMIC and original scoop, I noticed that the engine running temp dropped slightly after fitting the FMIC. Only thought I had was could the airflow throught the airscoop down over the back of the engine be producing a low pressure behind the radiator this improving the heat exchange properties.

Not liking it to be honest, the rear spoiler sounds good but the scoop delete just looks like a cattle grid!
Fit the bonnet from an Impreza GX or soemthing if you don't want the scoop MHO

I now want time attack bodykit and thinking of having the kit in a shiny black and the rest of the car in matt vinyl and thinking my interior blue won't look right and will want to change that to the black sti trim. Let the sourcing parts and spending begin.
This months pay will be the RCM vent and spoiler and roof wrap.

I'm just going to go with a black sti interior if I can find one but that's last. I think the kit is the time attack one I'm after or zero 2 60 or something springs to mind. I'll look for pics and post up. But I know exactly how I want it to look over the next six months

I love the Matt black theme after seeing my first matt black BMW a few years ago. Obviously you will be going for the reverse scoop, but if you manage to get the looks of something like this I think it would be awesome.
Depending on your plans and money, might you not be best looking at buying a black car to begin with?
The only trouble with some wraps is getting them into all the pesky areas, and with some waps ive seen fit have shrunk/faded in time. Be careful mate.
You have PM mate.
