Default Subaru WR Blue 02C spray can

Does anyone know from personal experience where I can get a can of spray paint which is a good match for Subaru WR Blue 02C?

I've tried several Subaru main dealers but they only sell touch up pens.

I also got Halfords to mix me a can using the paint code but it is a really bad match - too dark and looks matt even after lacquer coat.
If I'd gone in and just asked for any random can of blue paint it'd probably be a better match.

Today I tried two local body shops, one of which sprayed and fitted my rear spoiler, but neither could supply a can of spray.

I don't want to just pick any old paint suppliers off the net and get a poor match again. I'd rather use a company someone has already used and found can supply a good match.

Thanks

Could the mix/match in colour be a problem with undercoat/primer being used rather than an actual colour match problem?

Don't know I've tried a different primer and oversprayed a little onto the surrounding paint.

The Halfords paint is definitely a different colour and doesn't look at all metalic even after applying lacquer over the top and a good polish.

Anyone know where to get a can of spray that matches WR Blue 02C?

Halfords were pretty accurate when I painted my foglight covers.

I'll second that Halfords made me some up also and it had a metal spray nozzle that were very fine when spraying almost like a spray gun a very good finished result was achieved and only cost me a tenner

Thanks for the replies guys.
If you've all had good matches then maybe I just got a duff mix, I'll take it back and ask for another.

Halfords refused to do me another can or refund saying mixed aerosols are non returnable despite it being completely the wrong colour.

I tried http://auto-paint.co.uk/carpaint/ as recommended on the following thread.

https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...-supplier.html

Ordered a can or WR Blue 02C aerosol and ProXL lacquer. Paint is a very good match for 02C and is metalic unlike the stuff from Halfords.
Lacquer is also good and goes on easily without runs.
Would certainly recommend this company and will use again.
