Default Car security advice

Ok I'm looking at purchasing a tracker and a blackjax anti hijack system, anyone have experience of using the black jax or recomend an alternative.

Any info on prices or other systems which are better would be great.

Both very good systems if they are fitted by a proffesional which will obviously be needed for insurance approval.

I'd also suggest a meta or toad ai606 or just go to a reputable company and ask for there advise

Clifford are well know and have the blackjack system.

I've heard the blackjack system is annoying though, everytime you open door you have to put the code in or something.

As for trackers try http://www.tracker.co.uk/TRACKER/, my friend works for them and from what he saus they seem good!

Thanks
Sam

Thats the point of it someone opens your door or smashes your window etc, so yes, it takes 3-5 seconds of your life to do but stops em stealing your car

any tracking system works in the same way(some are gps/gsm based some are radio)but if your cars nicked do you want it back?probably with lots of damage..as for black jax its good ive been fitting clifford stuff for over 10 years and it does catch me out now and again!but it does work especially if someone takes your car keys.
one thing to think about though is if your car is taken and you have black jax on and your car is envolved in a accident caused by black jax eg it cuts the engine out and you loose all braking etc your insurance company will probablly not pay out,but at least no one can steal your car

I had a Blackjax on my last Impreza. Yes it is annoying having to put a code number in every time you open your door but it,s better than having your car stolen. Steve.
