taking my car on the track
Iv'e been wanting to do this for some time now but never really got round to doing it ,what i really need to know is a few things basically i want to fit a roll cage but not the bolt in type fully welded where to buy from and any particular standered,is there any standered i need to adhere too as with rallying everything has to be approved /scrutinered.
Secondly if my car is going to be used soley for the track do i just sorn it and cancel insurance as it will never be on the road just trailered to and from each track .
Also what is the average cost per trackday including tyres ,fuel admission etc just looking for a cost of each trackday obviously depends on alot of factors but just a rough price for a good day out/weekend for me and a few mates.
thanks in advance cheers lee

WYIOC are doing Blyton next weekend... pop down and scrounge a passenger ride ?
Cost is split amongst all attending.
dunx
P.S. I use a tank of fuel, wear out some old tyres, and you don't need a certified cage unless you do actual competition such as Time Attack.
