what is it.
Hi people, im not that clued up on modern imprezas and am looking for some advice.
I've just been offered a 54 reg ( 2005 ) Impreza STI, its in blue with gold wheels and has got the big rear spoiler. Its also an import if that makes any difference. I haven't yet spoken to the bloke about it, he just dropped it off at my yard when i wasn't there and told one of my boys to see if i wanted to buy it. Its a nice car, its got a couple of gauges fitted and a S/S exhaust but its also got a badge on the back that looks like an original one. Its STI-333. Was this a limited edition or something, any advice about it and maybe even a value would be fantastic. Its unmarked and done 60000 miles i think.
May even keep this one for myself
Thanks guys

Saying it's an import could just simply mean it's a Euro import.
Have the clocks got an 8000 rpm limit or 7500rpm ?
Are the sun visors in just Japanese or English?
Got any pictures?
I'm with Midlife in that the only 333 conversion I've heard of is TSL's as well.

putting pics up will definitely answer your query as we (scoobynetters) will be able to tell you what model/version the car is.

Ok, went to the yard today and got a couple of pics.
Its an '05' plate STI ( i know its got a 04 plate on it but its a private plate, supposed to say woosh or something ) it also has a diff control in cabin.
Also has the TSL 333 upgrade, found a bill for it.
Just would like to know a bit more about it, version number, value etc etc. Its in really nice condition but has covered 90,000 which is a bit of a shame. Got good history though.

Really grinds my f***ing gears that they cut the bumper for a fog light when the rear right hand tail light is so so so easily converted.
They even give you a stump of wire to connect to FFS.
EDIT* oops, that was meant to be an edit of my last post, I guess I hit quote instead (clearly need to go to bed and get some sleep!!)
