Radio Aerial Questions - Bugeye 2002
Hello Guys
I have not been able to get reception FM/AM for years. However thoroughly cleaned the back screen yesterday and all of a sudden i can now get a FM signal!
i know the aerial is inside the back screen but i want to try and bring back an AM signal.
I think it used to work until i had the head-unit replaced about 4yrs ago. Or maybe it stopped working because i tampered with the shaking parcel shelf (caused by the subwoofer in the boot).
What should i be looking for? If i can get an FM then why not an AM?
Can i take out the parcel shelf to see any connections below it or do i have to go through via the boot? any help would be appreciated. thanks

are you sure the yellow electrical conector is plugged in behind the stereo ?
i changed my head unit and had no radio reception, found the yellow plug was not connected and hey presto it's worked since
the antenna in the back needs power
