Not 100% sure but could make it lean.

If you need to use the car use some good auto tape like the hose repair tape for now to get you where you have to but I would change it ASAP.

It will help but would tape it for the time being myself.

Not sure on the diametre size to be honest? Could sleeve it?

Other option is, to remove the DV and pipe work totally, blank off the holes remaining and run home DVless.

Depends how, where the split is and which would be the best option for you.

If the split is near where it goes on, can you not cut the split off if the hose if the hose is long enough. Or swap it with a slightly shorter one and cut the split out, should be able to fix it as there is a few hoses there that could be swapped..
