What would you do if you had a Hawkeye STI type UK and £850.00? I say £850 because I have told the wife that a map and turbo to back box with a 100-cell cat would cost about that and Christmas is coming so she has been prept ... I am wondering though, if this is the best option.. The thought of 330 bhp a few pops form a bit of overrun and roar from the exhaust is a massive appeal.
It is my main car and the car currently has an afterburner vortex back box, (hence turbo to back box) performance friction front discs and pads all round, mud flaps and an alpine cd player other than that it is standard.
As soon as the struts go i will probably go for bc coilovers so I recon I can blag the misses on that front. as you know SM will charge £1,000 a pair, and bc's are what £650..
So would you go turbo back exhaust and map or something different? i.e. replacement cat and down pipe and map (which would cost less I presume).
Would love to know your thoughts..
Cheers
Ben

Personally I'd be going looks as the car is pretty quick as it is and to be honest where can you use the extra punch.
Wheels/tyres
Front Splitter
Perrin Stiffies
If you wanted power I'd grab a deresonated centre section for a little noise and call Duncan at Dynamix who will map your car on the road for under £400
So for £800 I reckon you could go half way, splitter, stiffies, map.
Maybe grab a second hand ppp cat aswell, Duncan will be able to advise on best set up though.

Come to a meet and we'll be able to get you sorted. Keep an eye in the Wales section for the November meet. You will be astonished at what you could spend!

for £850 i would say, walbro fuel pump
decat downpipe
open source map (andy carr)
front splitter (ht autos)
rear arb + uprated front bushes
this i reckon should be pretty much there or there abouts for £850, keep your eyes peeled in the for sale section. dont forget labour though if you are not doing the work yourself, should be no more than £100ish though. PS, wait for the struts to start knocking before fitting coilovers, should be easier to blag the missus that way lol
