gutted paint peeled of scoop

Default gutted paint peeled of scoop

does anyone no if you can get ready made touch up paints in wr blue as the paint has started to peel off the scoop ( blob wrx sti ) gutted but want to get it sorted as it looks crap . thanks for any info.

Best not to. Book it in, remove scoop the day it goes in, 8 bolts, have it resprayed PROPERLY, use plastic sheet to cover the scoop hole while it's off, refit it two days later, job done.

Mine got done three years ago 98 classic.

yes i no what you mean but the front bumper looks like its been shot blasted at the bottom and wanted to get it all done properly then but dont want to be spending that kind of money at the minute .

No worries... incase you need it here's the guide on getting rid of stone chips. Worked for me!

id take the bolts out take it off myself, rub it down, primer then paint it with halfords paint, they do every type of car colour codes in a tin, laquer it with 3 coats and jobs job install again after a couple of days after the paints hardened.

dont bother "touching up" as it will only p1ss you off because you will still be able to see it. as said, buy your paint, remove and do it properly first time. everyone knows a sprayer thats good, thats what i would do.
