managed to get a genome backbox for my jdm. Cant wait till weekend to fit it. Am amazed at how light it is. Presume resonator must be empty. Its a lot lighter than the prodrive backbox i had on my wrx. Just hope its not to loud now.

Hope you enjoy it mate. I've a Genome Backbox too but it needs a quick weld between the silencer and the pipe (tiny seam crack which I want sorted) so I have a 'temp' Prodrive box on and boy do I miss the Genome!!

It's a unique sound, you'll be windows down in every tunnel!

Got one on my classic, fits my needs spot on. Quiet when you want in town but sounds nice on WOT on the b roads. It also fits a lot more tighter than previous silly jap exit exhaust did.

How loud you want it depends on downpipe and centre as well though.

at the moment got standard downpipe a small sports silencer on intermediate pipe then a straight de resonated centre, to be followed by the genome backbox, so hoping all should be fine. Been looking for sound clips of them on twinscroll cars but can't find any.

had one on my classic with full decat, was jap import sti, sounded nice, not that loud, nice on full throttle. enjoy.
