Default Key fob in washing machine?

As the post says my alarm key fob has gone through the washing machine in my jeans pocket any tips on how to dry it out (apart from the obvious options) or how much a new one is and where to source one from?

dont press any buttons and remove the battery, leave in a warm place to dry out,
Once dry put battery(may need new one) back in and you should be fine,
If you start pressing the buttons before its dry you may kill it off.

As above. Take it apart and leave it apart until its dry.

If you have any electrical contact cleaner, its worth giving the circuit board a good spray to rinse off any remaining suds and prevent it corroding any further, it'll help it dry out quicker too.

I've done the above with a Samsung Tocco Ultra....it still works fine

LOL at your phone going through a washer
My youngest dropped a decent phone into his pint. I dried it out and the only bit that doesn't work is the camera.

Getting the water out of the touch screen posed an interesting task Gentle work with a finger nail to sperate the touch pad from the LCD.

Camera still works, but the picture taken always have a few water marks

Its not the first time its happened: I managed to save a SE W810 in the same way, but the loud-speaker didn't survive

To answer your question, they are around 35quid new from Subaru.
That's assuming you are talking about the blue sigma alarm fob.
