ECU Swapping question ?
I want to put my car back to standard so I can part ex it, to do this I would like to remove the mods (turbo, front mount etc) I thought it would be easier to fit an original UK turbo ECU back in after I remove the mods so it would be as standard and gives me my ecutek ecu to sell, the thing is I'm not too sure what my Ecutek ECU is worth or if its worth bothering with ?
But I have been advised if I fit another ecu it would need the key code matching or it will not start, any suggestion or does anyone have an idea of costs for this ? Or if the Ecutek is not worth much would it be cheaper/easier to put the car back to standard and get Simon to put a standard map back on it..
Thanks

key coding at your local subaru dealer will be around £60 and they do it while you wait so you take all your mods off and drive there with your ecutek ecu fitted, get keys coded and drive home with the other ecu fitted.
