Default Rear speakers

I have changed the head unit and all the speakers on mysti05
the rear speakers are not as loud as the front ones ( they are all the same speakers )
and i have tried swapping front to back and still the same.

I have used the existing wiring for all the speakers

My question is why is it happening ?????

Thanks in advance for any help given

Mark

Yes .( if only it was that easy lol )

I thought maybe a resister (might be the wrong thing) as the front speaker were 30w and rears 15w and I Have changed them all for 60w

The head unit is 50w x 4

May sound daft but are you sitting in different places in your car?

If you are only sitting in the front, the fronts may sound louder as your closer if you get me

I was hoping someone and done this and there is something limiting the feed to the rears that needs by-passing or chopping out before I run new wiring from the head to the rear speakers

looking for the easy fix first

No I tried sitting in the back, there is a big difference in volume between front and back

Can you run a TEMPORARY wire from the headunit to the rears, using decent speaker cable, not thin car stuff, see if that helps? Could easy be volts drop to the rear with thin cable.

Also, when you say the speakers are the same, do you mean EXACTLY, shape, etc, or just the same make?

Temporary wire from head does sort it and yes the speakers are exactly the same

You are right the wires to the rear speaker are thinner than the front so if no one says there is anything else restricting power to the rears i will run new wiring

Thanks to all for your input
