Exclamation

Firstly, are you sure is 34K miles and not 34K km big difference. I am surprised as most Japan imports are very low mileage. Japan speedos are in km not miles.

It should have a big service at 30K miles where alot of the fluids are changed. Not really a big mileage though.

cheers

Question

Hiya all,

Hope everyone is enjoying the fine weather as well as their car!
I have found an Sti 6 Type r Coupe V-Limited for £17450 with 34k miles. The car has not yet landed from japan! Its a March 2000 car. Is thought the mileage was too high for a car of that age especially from japan.
If maintained properly in japan would the car have any future problems. Do the sti engines suffer from any common faults with this mileage??
Ps should i ask for a discount or is the price reasonable??
Any input is appreciated.

Regards

Gez

Gez if its the link you are referring to, to the STI 5 Type R then you need to contact "Sonic Boom" not "LegacyPete". Just had a look and "Sonic Booms" email address in his profile is sonic@smc-solutions.com

I have just linked sonic boom back to this thread as well. All this work I dont know either party I must be in a good mood .

Hope that helps,

Chris
