black suede steering wheel (looks good) are they practical
anyone with a suede wheel do they stay in good condition or do they requier the wearing of racing gloves

They look the part, but after a few years they start to shine and need to be upholstered.

oh dear its only a weekend car not an everyday car so it would mean racing gloves?

they do wear fairly quick but if weekend use only it should last a couple of years.

i have mine on for about 4 months now still looks ok , do wear the gloves now and then to rub it around

Also if you get an EARS Motorsport wheel (lovely soft suede!) @£65 who cares if you have to replace it every 1-2 years

Ive also got an omp wrc suede one and its been on for 6 months also and its all gone shiny and flat on one side where i hold the wheel most and grip is not very good unless youre wearing gloves i like the look of it and think i will get a new one and wear gloves
