Depending on your requirements will effect pad choice, I have EBC Bluestuff pads but I mainly use the car as a weekend toy.

I'd contact Ian Godney at Godspeed Brakes as he'll be able to give you good advice and won't sell you something you don't need or get you to spend more than you need.

You could consider EBC, Ferodo, Performance Friction or Godspeed's own Kevlar pads as possibilities.

About the best all round pad that works very well from cold and can take just about any abuse you can throw at them is the new bluestuff pads , I have these in stock for next day delivery

EBC yellow pad for me much better than standard lots of brake dust though

might go blue next time but thought they were track use only.

I get less brake dust from the Blue's than I had from Ferodo DS2500's, they are classed as a track pad but they perform brilliantly on my AP racing 6 pot calipers.

They are silent around town, good bite from cold and perform brilliantly when up to operating temperature. The best pad I have ever tried without a shadow of a doubt.

The best pad will depend on a number of variables. If the standard pad works well for you, stick with that. If you want a better pad, I can recommend the EBC Bluestuff Pad which is what we use here on our daily driver and on track. Works well from cold, no noise and doesn't fade. Superb all around fast road to track pad.

More details on the new Bluestuff pad can be found here

Can also supply the OEM Spec pads if needed.

Give us a call on 01462 488244 for advice or to place an order.

Yellows are very good having used them for some time, but the Blues are a step up though even for just normal fast road use. Fine for everyday use on the road, but like many performance pads, are not R90 approved. As you already have decent discs (), you could uprgade to Blues next time, but the Yellows will last a very long time (like the Blues).

sorry for the small hi-jack

Don't get me wrong I really like my new disc and yellow pads I think it is a great set up, strong bite even when cold. I would recommend them to any one !
