Default up-ing the boost with a MBC?

basically i need to up the boost on my impreza to 1.1bar from o.8bar as there is something wrong with it and not boosting correctly.
it has been set up to run at 1.15bar so what i want to know is, will something like this be sufficient to turn the boost up?

If it is not boosting correctly I would get it looked at rather than cranking up the boost manually. Recipe for dead Impreza if you ask me.

as has been said to you before you need to sort the problem out before you start dialling the boost up otherwise it will just end in tears.

if the car is set to run and 1.15 bar and its not yet if you use a MBR which just controlls the actuator and it runs and 1.15 bar then.. I would suggest replacing the actuator first.

If you have not had your AFRs checked on a wide band lambda and listened to for DET with professional equipment, both done by someone that knows what they are doing, how do you know your engine is not running lean or detting itself to destruction?
Drive with light throttle until you get it checked/sorted or put a load of dosh aside for a new engine. Simple choice but it is quite amazing how many on here have read the advice and suddenly forgotten it when they went playing with a Clio/Saxo/Nova or whatever and then needed a rebuild.
As it is there is a serious possibility of ending in tears.
