Default Feelin Chuffed - first job done!

Well after what seemed like taking ages I have managed to change the front brake pads and repaint the calipers on my 2000 Turbo Impreza Wagon - which I have owned for exactly one week!

Bit of a nightmare as three of the retaining pins were totally siezed and I had to physically cut them and tap them out from the inside out of the caliper - still all done and looks ace (even if I say so myself!)

So I'm feelin chuffed, my first job done!

Pics to follow!

Good work, got mine to do soon. What paint did you use? hammerite spray?

Actually no, I have tried a few hammerite and high temp paints, some are really thick and sticky and seem to get everywhere.

I have had great results quite simply with brush on aluminium paint, dries super fast and seems to last ages!

Obviously its only as good as it can be when done with the caliper still on the car, but I'm happy!

Heres my old car done in the same stuff:
