New Scooby owner just made an ebay purchase..
After a few texts back and forth I bid and won this Black Sti:

Seems an ok price, the chap is going to sort the windscreen when he gets home Wednesday.
Evidently running spot on with an engine rebuild 4k ago and oil changed again 1k ago.
ICE is not for me - i'll rip it out so i'll have some boot space!
Any comments good and bad welcome!

Just done a vehicle status check and it comes up with:
Make SUBARU
Year of manufacture1996
Model IMPREZA WRX Engine size 2000(CC)
also listed with the insurance data base as WRX.
If it is/was an Sti - should it come up listed as such or not please?

I'm no expert but from seeing on posts here before there are tell-tale signs that it still could be STi so dont panic..
The engine is a redtop which only STis have ( as far as I know )
The seats have the red shouders again which only STis have ( again as far as I know )

Edited to also say there seems to be a lot of mis-information regarding what Import cars come up as on a check and on the V5s, some say WRX ,some even say GX or GL ..
