I would seriously recommend finding something already here, the exchange rate and raise in VAT is killing importing.....

That coming from somebody who in the past imported cars- can't remember the last time I recommended a customer import over a nice example already in the UK.

I agree anything that is coming over now I would be very wary of! It's not worth it for any importer to buy a car from Japan freight alone is costing £1000 at the moment and the exchange rate is crippling. If your willing to pay a premium for a low mileage example then yeh maybe ,but otherwise I would not waste your time. You might be better finding a nice example in the UK.
