Recently bought a Tamiya WRC Scooby radio controlled car, the Metallic Blue paint used to spray the shell is very similiar to the scooby Sonic Blue too (same as my MY00) so i have decided to start colour coding things to match my car!?
the first things was my mobile phone:
Spray paints TS-19 (Metallic Blue) and TS-13 (Clear) for plastics. Bought these from my local hobby shop at £3.99 each.
the next bits will be my car mobile phone holder, air freshner and my shoes
cheers, peccy.

Hi Guys
I used to do a lot of spraying of model cars. Watch the Tamiya paint as it is Acylic and will chip off. I guess the mobile phone won't look to clever after a couple of weeks.
You can help the process by slightly scratching the surface that the paint needs to stick to by rubbing it with wire wool. This provides a surface for the pain to key to.

A few coats of Halfords acrylic laquer will protect it. Several light coats are best, let the laquer cure before rubbing it down.
I've done a few for people using some of my modelling materials. I can also do my own decals, so have even been sad enough to do one in 64f with silver P1 logos on it. Shame I've changed my phone now
However, the battery powered mobile phone chargers we import already come in sonic blue and the mica red, so I presume these are popular colours.
