Default Towing

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone knows or can have a quick look in their handbook, about the towing specification for a 2001 WRX.
Can this be front lifted? If so is it at 30mph for 30miles or is there any other information? Is a flat tow with ignition on or should it be complete lift?

Many thanks in advance
Lou

It would be best to get a trailer or keep all 4 wheels on the ground as you will do some serious damage if you lift only 2 wheels

can be flat towed, but according to my recovery manual and max speed of 20mph for 30 miles. so a full lift would be better. do not front or rear lift

I've towed cars (subarus) from Liverpool to Newcastle on an A frame without any issues at all.

Conflicting responses lol. Thanks for all the answers, I am only needing to get a car roughly 10 miles which has a blown engine.

Guess a flat tow will be the best option.

Thanks again.

P.S. How you doing Mel?

Flat tow will be fine as it's effectively coasting.
