is that the new new one ? with the large plastic arches and front looks similar to new scirroco ? had one in our garrage at work.not my cup of tea, so was it quick at all ? what are you running ?

 

I'm running 333 BHP,and from a standing start left one looking a bit stupid Got up to third gear and slowed to normal speeds and he came passed looking rather pissed.

 

Hi, i took one out yesterday with my brother who has the old R26 F1, it feels really solid and heavy compared to his but it still rolls along nicely. It one of those cars where you don't realise your speed. Don't think he's going to bother upgrading as there is no real performance difference, as his has diff etc etc and this dosen't, yet anyway. Although it is alot better put together with better materials etc.
Think your best in your Subaru for the road but the Renault WILL give you trouble on the track if you ever come across one trust me.

 

I've just come from an R26 F1 and now have the RS 250 Cup, which has the LSD and stiffer suspension and I must say it is so agile. Absolutely love it. And yes, corners are a different ball game. Really good fun to drive, which was one of the reasons for moving to the Renaultsport marque. There are a few knocking about with 300bhp from a re-map and I believe they are rapid. Never been a fan of drag racing tbh, but whatever floats your boat.

Yes, the new one with the Astra VXR style exhaust, got the impression that it was quite quick but pulling away I was quicker, he did maintain the same distance once rolling.
