Question average sti rebuild price

just gotta ask as im trying to sell my engine with no luck and cant remember what it costs for a standard rebuild

thats what i was thinking so why wont anyone buy a forged engine ready to go for just over 2grand is it the wrong time of the year or something?

from what i can make out money spending has dropped off like a stone in the last month or so,not so much on small things say £100 and under but on things like yours and the like its gone south at the moment.

na i mean i dont need to sell but can only take so much of the boss nagging to be away with it coz it makes the place look untidy i think it looks quite nice just not an ideal coffee table lol

know what you mean ive got bits gallore kicking around but i own my workshop so ive got alittle more space than most to store it,but my missis is constantly saying why do i keep it all lol

well i did have it in storage for 4 months at my workshop but the boss eventually seen his **** and wanted the space back now its the long haired boss i cant win lol

i know mate but u know how it is it has t go i wont go lower than this the weights bench will be replaced with this if it dont go at this price and il hang my gloves up with scoobs forever

i wont be goin lower than this at all seen as though a rebuild with standard sti bits costs this id eat the engine b4 it goes for less

p1 crank acl bearings,eagle rods.wiseco pistons,metal headgasket and raised comp ratio standard heads it comes complete with header tank blue inlet manifold,3 inch samco turbo inlet sti injectors no turbo or ex manifold basically drop in hook up and go

well i was planing 470 and told it would be fine although an uprated oil pump was advised hope that helps
