Cambelt change-how far do you need to go?

Cambelt change-how far do you need to go?
Ive recently bought a 2004 wrx wagon and im gonna get the cambelt done just for piece of mind really. Its done 37k miles but no reciept to prove its been done. Ive been told to get parts from a company called "import car parts" which basically sell the same belts as subaru fit.
Thing is on the list of belts there are about 15 options of kits starting at £232 for everything(Idlers, tensioners, water pump etc) and i have no idea where to start.
If anyone knows the site and could recommend what i need it would be a great help.

At that mileage i would just change the belt, but i would also check the idlers just to mak sure they are runnin freely, or just change the idlers aswell for piece of mind... I dont think they are due to be changed untill 50k

Hi, I would change all of it for piece of mind. I had my belt done by a dealer and a few months later the idlers needed doing, they can fail quite quickly.
You can get whole kits like you say from import car parts or as i just have from Roger Clark motorsport. You can choose genuine of after market but the bearings are made by the same company, NKN and KOYO. Belts by Gates etc, Not bad money either. I don't think you would need to change the water pump as they last forever, unless of course its leaking.

I'd tend to agree that the service schedule for changing is 50\60k but if you arn't 100% get the belt for your piece of mind and the full kit at 50\60k. The cost of a full kit will seem insignificant when you are looking at what damage the timing going can cause.
