though on my scoobs i run a 5w40 fully synthetic oil.

I have no preference to be honest. Last time I used 10w40 but a few people have recommended 15w50 so I thought I would get a few more recomendations before changing.

I changed my oil & filter last weekend and renewed with Magnatec 10w-40 and used a std Subaru filter!
