Need a replacement near side front OME Brembo brake caliper (gold colour) for an 05 sti.

Hope someone can tell me of a quality cheep supplier..

Reason needed last person(monkey) who worked on car has stripped both threads on the caliper along with 2-3 wheel studs on each wheel

Reason given in case there is a way to repair caliper

Could you not retap the holes in the next thread size up?

I guess if you use the same strenght bolts then all should be ok, bit of a PITA but cheaper than a new caliper as I would imagine buying just the one secondhand my be a bit tricky!

Wheel studs should be an easy fix with direct replacements from subaru.

I have done the wheel studs very straight forward

but subaru want £1155 for 1 front caliper

so i was thinking helicoil if that's the right term
or
a cheaper supplier

Tbh it would be considerably cheaper to get holes re drilled/Tapped with associated fixing bolts. Or helicoiled is an option, both are an easy job for any engineering firm or possibly a good garage with skilled persons.

Re tapped is your cheapest option, and for the price that Subaru want for 1 caliper you can buy a 330mm AP setup and have change
