Default Brembo Calipers (Mitsubishi)

Does any one know if the Evo Brembo Calipers will fit the classic Impreza. Ive been looking on ebay and noticed the red evo calipers look the same as the gold sti calipers.

In short No. They have different mounting wholes and except a different size disc.

They can be made to fit, a couple of the lads in the US have done it but you end up spending more than you would if you fitted the gold Subaru ones

The front brembos are not a direct fit, the space between the mounting holes is different to that of the subaru hubs, If your mate has them fitted he would of had to redrill his hubs which I wouldn't want to do or he simply has a set of gold ones repainted red

see here for details

I think you need to check with your mate first. I can't see there is enough room to use brackets, the alignment issue is only about 3mm and that ain't enough room to use brackets

The calipers may look the same but they are different, as danny has already said (and Ian), these are not a direct replacement or fit.
If you want to give this a try though...
Buy a set of AP calipers for a mitsubishi and fit them to a subaru
