Best classic shape tyres
Hi all i have just upgraded to a set of Newage Sti rims 17" for my classic shape impreza. What make and size of tyre does anyone recommend? I was after something like a 215/45/17 but there are some many varied opinions on make . I was thinking of spending about £300 for a set.
Any suggestions?
Thanks Ryan.

Go for 215/40 ZR 17 on a Classic with 17s.
Toyo Proxes if on a budget though personally I think they aren't great but other will disagree.
Goodyear Eagle F1s are better.
Don't skimp on tyres

as above, 215/40/17 is the size you want for a Classic as maintains the same (or as close as you can get) rolling radius as the original tyres
with regard to tyres, opinions vary, but again as above Goodyear Eagle F1's are very good, especially in the wet, but aren't cheap and can wear quickly
I rate Falken FK-452's on a budget, good grip, good wear and well priced
