Default What does this mean please?

Collected my WRX STi last Saturday morning and sorted out the insurance beforehand.

When I was insuring it the bloke at the end of the phone referred to the car as 'Subaru Impreza WRX STi Type UK (301) Saloon' and the insurance certificate says the same.

Q:What does (301) refer to?

Tony

It's a 2005 MY and it's a 2 litre. I don't think it has PPP either.
