29k is very good, considering that the yen isnt exactly in our favour at the moment so your looking at a car that pushes more bhp and torque out of the box over a uk 2.5, and the engine wont self implode

What spec is it? There are 2 spec with a few options between them.

A regular 18" version with optional recaros - but they were limited to 900pcs or the "stripped out" 17" version with rubbish seats and manual air-con.

The 18" spec was selling at about 3.5million yen back in 2009 and with the 17" going for 3.2 million yen if i remember correctly.

Prodrive don't use the spec c's for the rallying. There not much difference between the spec c apart from the rollerbearing turbo and the ali bonnet alloys and colour of the brakes.

We have a Hatch here that has been running the new Spec C parts for a while and they are a noticeable improvement.

We'll see for sure when we take our demo car to the Nurburgring later this month

The R205 it's based on the spec c and has loads more STI goodies including a 6 pot monoblock brembos at the front and 4 pot brembo's on the rear. It's the first time they have used a 6-4 set up on the brakes as the previous RA-R only had 6 pot at the front.
Aluminium alloys in anthercite/black the full sti suspension setup etc.

Sounds nice immy

Also not sure if litchfield are doing the spec c at £29k as that's what the jdm sti is up for

http://www.litchfieldimports.co.uk/s...st.asp?inc=264

Hmmm maybe hold out for a R205 was thinking of a hawkeye spec c or s204 but the r205 has got me thinking, think it will be out of my price range though

It's a cracking price as they cost 3.6 mil new and that's £27500 before it's even got to the port in Japan. Great price Ian
