Default H brace

i am currently breaking a wrx,and earlier in the day when i was stripping the car i noticed a H brace,what exactly isit and what does it do?
might even put it on my own ar if its worth doing

same principal as a strut brace but instead of supporting the struts to stop them flexing etc it supports the chassis to stop it flexin

on the road,probably not needed,but if someone gave me a H Brace,id fit it LOL

Mounts on your ALK location to the wishbone/front subframe. IIRC the point is greater rigidity and maintaining the integrity of your geometry through the forces of cornering. Worth doing IMHO but can foul OEM plastic casings/undertrays depending on the manufacturer design.
