Ive got grooved on mine and the grooves definatley go the other way round because I could be wrong but the way you have them there doing nothing at all.

Can someone correct me if I am wrong because it means mine are wrong and not his...

Nice Pics
Really liking the colour and the front end styling mods
My next one will most likely be treated to the same things
(Nice big FMIC, Twin Intake vents, Fog Vents/surrounds, P1 style lip.)

As for the break discs, yes the groves are meant to go the other way.

The centre most section of the groove is meant to touch the pad first dragging any break dust outwards and towards the outside of the disc and vent it away.

As they are now, you will get more "Bite" from the breaks, but over a long period they will just get clogged with break dust and actually start to restrict breaking effectiveness and wear break pads wayyy quicker.

Paulo P - funny enough mate i actually prefer the STI rear lights too, was considering either putting mine up to maybe swap or selling them and buying some myself???
How much do these afterburner lights sell for anyone do you know???

other than that, im off out for a drive... AGAIN!!!LoL

yes leecalcars it is the WR1 ice blue colour mate...

daddyscooby - i am just in the process of trying to see how much they sell for etc now bud???(and wether that would allow me to get some STI rears with the cash) or wether there may be any interest in a straight swap with someone???...

thanks again guys/gals

The problem you will have is that the lights are colour coded and nobody else has a classic in that colour (except me) so someone will have to factor in a respray, if it was a factory colour you would have been able to have shifted them easier That's the only problem with having a car that's a different colour to what it should be

yeh i kinda wondered bout that paulo p.....

but from my experience (previous scoobys), its always the case that when you want something for your car - the item never seems to be for sale in just the right colour code to match your own anyway!!!
Untill youve purchased it and then like 2 weeks later lo and behold... theres 1 in the right colour, the right item itself and oooo guess what - its cheaper too!!!!!LoL

in all honesty mate (daddyscooby) it would be too much hassle to even bother removing them and buying some STI's before i go on holiday this month bud.

the money itself is not really an issue mate, so will probaly just buy some STI rears when i get back and then just whack these on ebay with no reserve...

thanks for the interest anyway.

cheers
